I want to move abroad?
Answer:
You can go to USA on your UK Visa Waiver I94 (not allowed to work) for 3 months, just get on a plane and go, try it out and see if you like it before deciding on longer term. Make friends, contacts, network, look for cash jobs that you could do. (Don’t tell border control you are looking to stay or work, they will deport you on that I94 visa)
To go to USA for longer than 3 months you could apply for a student Visa or a Business Visa ot family visa if you have direct relatives over there. You could also go if you are a skilled person, Scientist, Doctor Nurse; there are many other professions.
If you don't qualify there are other Methods: ay my previous answer below.

It is difficult for most people to get into America on a green card working Visa so they just go, work, go home every 3 months to restamp their Visa, come back and carry on.
Be prepared to answer questions on re entry at immigration about your constant returning, everything in your wallet must be from Uk, driving license, bank account credit cards, tesco card, no USA stuff. Say you stay with family you are on vacation from your internet business in the UK, always arrive with a return ticket to the UK, if you have to cancel the return then that’s the cost of Living Good unless you buy a changeable ticket (more expensive).
If you over stay the 3 months and you get caught you will be banned from re- entry for 10 years
If you do over stay you can get someone to drive you to Canada or Mexico and fly direct back to your home country to avoid recording your USA leave date (get rid of your Visa Waiver once it has expired) you can then re enter USA legally again, if they ask just say you drove across the border to stay with family there and nobody was there that asked for your visa waiver card.
Now if you are serious about staying in the US legally do any of the following, meet and marry someone for spousal Visa, (2 years proof of relationship, bills, accounts bank accounts etc) set up a business, (business Visa) get involved with a church (religious Visa) If you were more ethnic you could get an employer who would petition for you as an employee because Americans can't do the work, i.e. Indian chef, nanny etc. but you are English so it is difficult to say that.
If you don't find your ideal man to marry, I knew many American guys that married for money $5000.00, give half to start the process when forms are submitted and the rest after the final interview (you have to live with them to answer immigration officials questions properly) A gay Guy friend may do this free.
If you do over stay, never carry your passport with you, only your UK, ID or driving license, you forgot it at your hotel;-) Avoid crossing state lines by road or Air in the south. California, Arizona, Texas thru to Florida as there are extra checks being made on almost every car for illegal immigrants, twice I had to say I left my passport at the hotel, luckily I was with a US citizen so they let me go.
If you like meeting people, making friends, networking and are sociable, the Americans love brits so you will love America, I toured the whole country, California is the Best, San Diego in particular or San Francisco, Los Angeles (west side only) It is very diverse, Multi cultural, close to Mexico, Las Vegas Arizona, Pacific Ocean, Beaches, Boats Military, Mountains, deserts, sea World Zoo's. Disney, MGM Hollywood Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, and dozens more, great all year around sunshine too, never rains, never windy, a few earthquakes though but don't let that scare you.
Good Luck
England is damp.
Contact an American embassy and go from there. Do some research online on government websites. IT'll take some time, but it'll be worth it.
