Innocent? The illegals have broken the law, they can't be innocent. As to hurting me, yes they do. They drain our schools, welfare, lower wages, and hurt our medical services because of their actions. I think that you need to grow up and educate yourself before you post something that so blatantly shows your ignorance. And by the way, go to Mexico illegally and see what happens to you. Better yet, move their legally and try to buy some land. See what happens then. Yes we are the big bad wolf in your eyes. You are uneducated. I recommend you read up a little bit on history and politics before posting such drivel.
The problem is that people are afraid they are going to drag down our economy. This belief may or may not be unfounded, but is is a concern nonetheless.
I'm not going leave law breakers alone, we got legal ways to enter America.
Considering there is a major drug war and the insurgency is on the rise in Mexico, I don't want some of those people in my country. If the Mexicans come in legally, pay their taxes, and obey the laws fine. But it should be 1 strike, and you're deported back to Mexico.

1. Neither I, nor anyone I know, is afraid of Mexicans.
2. I respect people who work hard.
3. I do not believe that illegal immigrants should be deported because they are of "no use." That is a terrible assumption to make. Of course they are of use, and I welcome anyone who comes here legally. If they come here illegally, they should be deported because they have broken our laws. Or, they should be able to do what it takes to get legal.

Nobody is opposed to people immigrating to the US legally, but if you are not legal...then why are you entitled to rights and benefits of our country? I feel that if someone enters this country ILLEGALLY they are a criminal to this country. If someone come here LEGALLY, I have no problem with that. Where I live all I do is see them sitting on their a**es waiting for work when they should be seeking legal permanent status and legal means to work. I also see them buying beer by the 30 pack, I see them buy lottery tickets ALL THE FREAKIN' time but buy milk and food with their EBT cards. Where do the funds from EBT come from? Me and every tax payer. They litter my neighborhood and local strip malls (not strip clubs, strip malls). The lived in poverty in Mexico but move here and make more money but live their live like they are still in poverty, the neighborhoods all are run down. I know this for a fact. I'll take pictures sometime and post them on my MySpace page for your proof. Strangely, I am proud of my Mexican heritage. Go figure :/

2. Nobody said they were of no use.. they should be deported because they have entered the country illegally for personal gain... I don't care what their personal reasons were.
3. Working your butt off is not the main requirement to being a US citizen. Nor is being kind to your mother. Or helping sick animals, or being in the peace corps, or any other number of character-building traits.
4. We should not pay for the education of imprisoned felons, but that's a completly different issue.
5. They are not innocent hard working people. They are guilty hard working people who are here illegally.
The point of high concern, frustration and political attention is the fact that most Mexicans cross illegally and work for peanuts as you mention. No there is nothing wrong with hard working people however most opportunities for employment throughout the border states I'm sure are taken by these folks. If you really think hard about their situation I'm sure you will come to the conclusion that it is a sad situation, but the answer is not to seek the American dream by crossing illegally and thinking they will hit paydirt overnight.
If they work their butts off, why do they have the highest high school drop out rate?

I don't think anyone is afraid of Mexicans, U R right they R just nice hardworking people, just like all the other nice hardworking people who have migrated to the US, the difference is that it should be legally , just like the others. If everyone in the world is allowed to just jump across the fence , to your private family barbecue, would U let them in? Innocent people dont need to jump the fence and sneak into anyplace. U have to be firstly invited, or be able to afford the ride in.

Just like robbing a bank is illegal, so is "sneaking" into this country. There is NO REASON why they cannot wait in line for the proper documentation! I'm getting sick of this crap! It has NOTHING to do with them being Mexican! Duh!! I know plenty of people who have moved here from other countries and they did it LEGALLY! They filled out the papers and waited for the approval BEFORE coming to America. THEN...they LEARNED ENGLISH when they got here! AND...they PAY TAXES!!!

You have your own country. If you dont like it, fix it. Get out of ours. We have our own problems without you stealing our identities, social security, and running up our health care costs. What Mexicans who enter the United States illegally are doing is invading another country passively. "Give me your tired, your poor..." means if you come here LEGALLY.

Do a little research on the subject before you share your wrong opinion. They are causing a lot of problems. They cost Americans 90 Billion a year. They bog our social systems down . They commit crimes against Americans. They kill thousands of us each year. They are criminals with no regard for our laws. They should be forced into labor camps to build the wall between our borders. Then kicked off the top back into the dump they came from.

About 57% or so or Ilelgal immigrants are Mexican. Thus, we dislike the other 43% just as much as the rest of them. I get your argument about hard work, but they're not even entitled to work hard here. That's for AMERICAN CITIZENS and legal residents to do. If Americans want to work hard, that's their business. The illegal immigrants should go back to their own countries, work hard, and get legal in the mean time.
I dont think immigrants that come here legally and Work Hard should be punished. But those whom commit crime shouldnt be left here. You see, that is a really off question. Obviously neither statement is true. Most people are not afraid of Mexicans just the criminal ones. Can you pick out the criminal ones from the good ones at one glance? If the Mexicans are in this country illegally then they are criminals.
It's the simple. They need to get legal then they will be accepted here. There are many Americans that would just love to go to another country but can afford it but they don't sneak into that country and demand freedom to do as they want.
