Why? Because now they are giving the illegal immigrants a way of establishing credit in this country, which they should not be able to do. And when they skip out on all the debt (and some of them will), who do you think is going to pay for that? The customers of BofA credit cards and banks. They will pay in higher interest rates, lower savings/checking interest rates, higher loan prices, higher charges for services at the bank, and so on. It is wrong to allow illegal immigrants to further intrench themselves into our soceity, and that is what BofA is allowing by issuing those credit cards. They are doing it for the almighty dollar, and nothing more. It is for no other reason than they are seeing an untapped potential revenue source.
It all makes me sick. We closed all of our accounts from the bank we were at and moved them elsewhere. We are also informing our friends of the same thing. I think that people taking their money out will create them to take notice.
Democrats are outraged at immigrants getting credit cards because they are racist socialists. They believe that everyone should be on welfare and nobody has a right to private property or credit. Basically Democrats hate free enterprise and almost everything about America.

Well there catering to illegals, not just Mexicans, illegals from any country. Its the beginning of a socioeconomic breakdown of our country. When you can get a charge card an charge it up then change your name get another one and keep repeating the process I would say someone will be paying for it, and it will be the American people again.

Why does everyone assume that this is only for the benefit of illegals? Don't you realize that there are foreigners here with work Visas who might prefer to buy a home vs pay rent. These same people would benefit from credit vs having to pay cash for major purchases.

I have read the articles, listened to the media reports on MSNBC, CNN, FOX NEWS. Needless to say I to have gotten rid of anything affiliated with that company. This does not make me a hater of illegals, this just makes me another American whois tired of having to have his whole life exploited in order to get any kind of credit card while these people can get anything and everything handed to them on a silver platter including "our" civil liberties. Thank the corporate Democrats for this kind of lawlessness.
We do not bank with BofA, but for those who do I can understand why they would be upset and fearful of getting stuck with the costs. (which more than likely they will)
I don't think BofA has really thought this through OR they don't care, what happens if the illegal who has a maxed out credit card gets deported? Who is going to pay for that then?
And as for having no SS#, well for US citizens that do have one they can track us and hunt us down and make us pay our debts, but with an illegal that isn't possible. All an illegal has to do is move and take on a new name. Doesn't seem right....

Giving motgages and issuing credit to ILLEGALS Is against FEDERAL LAW...!!! Aiding and abeiting an ILLEGAL immigrant is a can be a FELONY. Also,just so you know,my parents will be closing all of their accounts,and canceling any credit card associated with B of A. They are telling all of their friends to do the same,and I personally know several people that have already pulled their accounts. We do not need to encourage illegals to stay here by catering to them In every conceivable way. Our government Is all about BIG BUSINESS... And BIG BUSINESS Is running OUR government.
