What makes you think that these criminals will willingly pay $5000, travel internationally, and do everything right for eight years, when they can just stay here without any consequence?
You know nothing will happen, and so do they. We don't have the will or manpower to just round them up. Think what it would take to collect the money and track them home, back, through English classes, and into society!

It should be a negative number...in that they should be deported. The US has enough trouble keeping its own healthy, warm, fed, insured, and employed. The Mexicans can fend for themselves, if you ask me...which you did. Pretty soon it'll be "press 2 for English". I actually had a **** waitress correct my Spanish when I oredered food the other night. Funny thing is, she got $0.13 for a tip. In Mexico, I'd have willingly accepted the gesture. But in the US, I'll speak Mexican anyway I want. Ship them all back, call off the war, and spend the rest of the defense department's money a big electric fence wrapped with so much razor wire that it's impossible to even conceive of climbing.
