Where are the family values at illegal alien runs from crash that killed his 9-year-old son left to die?
Marcos Munoz-Sanchez, 33, was booked for several felonies in connection with the accident on westbound Interstate 8 near Texas Street about 1:30 a.m. yesterday, according to California Highway Patrol officers.
Alex Munoz, who was a third-grader at Linda Vista Elementary School, was declared dead at the scene of the crash. The boy was asleep in the front seat when his father crashed into the back of a pickup truck parked on the shoulder of the road, according to the CHP.
Muñoz-Sanchez, who is in the United States illegally and is not a licensed driver, got out and ran, a local newspaper reported.
The man's brother, Raul Munoz, who also had been drinking, picked up Munoz-Sanchez and took him home, where police were waiting for him, the paper reported.
Munoz-Sanchez was booked on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, hit and run and drunken driving. Bail was set at $300,000. The brother also was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving
Well, so much for "family values." His own son is sitting there dying in the front seat and all the illegal cares about is escaping.

Well, the LACK of family values is in the people using a tragic incident like this (and it is an INCIDENT, not a pattern) to think they're making a sound argument against illegal immigration.
If you can't come up with actual, logical reasons (and I have heard plenty of people do so), that doesn't excuse you exploiting a child's death for your own purposes.
I feel sorry for the child---he was young and innocent and should NOT have been in his father's vehicle but the father is 100% to blame illegal alien or NOT... the guy should be packed off to mexico in SHACKLES and put directly into a MEXICAN prison and let THEM pay to feed him in jail rather then the AMERICANS and LEGAL aliens that are here. I was watching the video and could not believe how they were blaming this on “fear” of being illegal. If he had not been here it would have not happened here, but let’s put that aside a moment. Legal or not ,he was driving without a license, and arrested for drunk driving.

At this point it was probably just a reflex action. He might have been running for a half mile before it occurred to him that this time he had abandoned his dying child just like his sixth or seventh $500 junker.

That is so sad. They made that child an illegal, so I don;'t agreew itht he first answer. That little boy didn't make hisself illegal, his parents did that. If I lost a child, I wouldn't want to live and I know that. Our kids is why I'm still here, more than the marriage to be honest about it.
