Do I have to go through INS in LA if I am transfering from a Europe flight to a domestic one bound for SF?

I don't have a US passport just a visa. I know I have to go through INS and customs in SF but do I have to do the same thing in LA where I change flights?

Answer:
You do it where you enter the country... where you are technically "crossing the boarder". Once in, you don“t have to go throuhg immigration anymore, unless for some reason, there may be a particular arrangement.
YES. Because if a person were a terrorist...they could just disappear at that airport.
i don't think so you already did it in Miami or NY,(you are not using the international terminal no more) my sister was coming from Madrid to Miami then she got lost in Denver then she came to la .good luck!!!!!!!!
You go through customs etc where you first enter the country.
