UK trade qualifications for Canada?

Im am looking into emmigrating to Canada. I am a plumber and have City and Guilds NVQ qualifications. Do canadian employers recognise UK qualifications and if not what qualifications DO they recognise and how can I obtain them as I surely do not have to do the entire canadian courses to get them when i have already completed an apprenticeship.

You will have to obtain qualifications all over again, but so long as you a proficient you will have no issues.
