Why do illegal aliens mistakenly believe it is okay to come to the USA and break our laws?
Answer:
They claim that the southwest is rightly their land (Aztlan) so when they come it's their RIGHT. It doesn't matter that the US legally bought the land. The claim that America is wrong in our assessment that this is not Mexico.
I have heard interviews in which they have stated that this is their land. They don't care that we now call this area America. Their "rights" overshadow America's claim to the land.
In other words, they don't give a hoot that they are breaking our laws. La Raza is all that counts.
I guess some come here assuming we have the same laws as their mother country and unintentionally break our laws.
Ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law, however.

Because word hasn't yet reached mexico yet that illegals have the potential of getting severe cases of "lead poisoning".
It is not a mistake. They do it because the risk of getting caught is so low and the rewards are so high. Risk vs Reward.
The Mexican government encourages them to become criminals in USA.
1) Outright encouragement to enter US illegally with government-backed impunity.
2) Disregard of Mexican citizens by Mexico not bothering to oppose corruption, tax, build infrastructure, create jobs - all those things necessary for an environment to best take advantage of Mexico's resources including people.
3) US Dollars earned by illegal invaders in USA and sent home to Mexico are an important portion of Mexican economy.

because they see tons of other people doing it. i imagine these people think the US is a total joke. you come here illegally and you can work, pay taxes, possibly get health care, go to school, rent/buy a home....pretty much whatever anyone else does (but under constant fear.)
so i agree with what another person said...it's because we let them. and we have people who are 1) too afraid to hurt people's feeling and just say NO, or 2) racist idiots who can't open their mouths without sounding like a moron, and they turn people away from even thinking about immigration reform.
I think it's because they think going here would give them a better life, no matter what the consequences are.

Why do you say "our" why not just say the U.S laws or laws. didn't know you bought part of American territory. I believe the only people that should be allowed to say "our" should be full blooded native americans. the rest are just immigrants too on THEIR land.
