I like him a lot but I'm not sure he is electable .
I certainly will vote for any candidate that is totally against illegal aliens. But I want it to be the right person. Tancredo is on my short list of course . No amnesty for illegals from any where. Romney is a viable contender to me . From where at I stand he looks like a president.

Tancredo isn't your only choice. Ron Paul would also make sure to secure the boarder and resolve the current immigration problem. He is one of the few senators to vot against amnesty.
I do not like him that much I think he is not just anti illegals but anti legal immigrant as well. I like his stances on illegal immigration but not on his ideas for legal immigration.

While I agree with him on that particular issue, unfortunately, both the House and the Senate are in favor of amnesty.
With all of the corrupt, self-serving Congressmen, I don't think any immigration reform that comes out of Congress will benefit American citizens. It will just be amnesty that they call something else.

I havent decided who I will vote for yet,It is still a long time till elections,alot could happen,and If the person you would like to vote for isnt up there in the top contendors ,they wont have a chance anyway,Tancredo seems like someone I would vote for,but he isnt campaigning enough to be well known like some of the other candidates.And even though its not for the best of the country sometimes its the media that helps win the election,because people who arent really into politics vote for a popular face and not necissarily the best candidate.Im also watching Duncan Hunter and Ron Paul,and Mitt Romney
Yes, yes, yes. a few years back Illinois had a senatorial candidate named Oberweiss lost when he ran against Obama. he stood firmly for securing our borders and not tolerating illegal immigration. he was just a bit ahead of he time. today he would win hands down (if only citizens voted). back then the press and democrats did a fear number on him. on top of that he was a business man. not a lawyer come politician. i believe candidates paul and Romney lean Tancredo's way as well. i hope his name gains publicity and popularity.

2/3 or the world's population have inadequate access to food, clean water or shelter. Many look to our standard of living and,of course, they want to get over here.
Illegal immigration will only end when this country ceases to represent a more attractive alternative. And whatever our rules, whatever our penalties, when the only other option people see is starvation,unbridled corruption, and lack of any opportunity, they will continue to come.
I will if he is the Republican nomination, but I think if he is going to win, he needs more than just this one topic to run on. It seems that all he talks about is immigration, which is fine, but there are also other important issues in our country that need to be address and I dont think he will win against Hilary or Obama unless he gets a variety of issues to discuss.

I will vote for anybody who is against illegal immigration and is willing to enforce our existing laws. Most likely it will be Tancredo, unless somebody else with his type of views steps forward.
