How can I get an Indian Permanent Residentship?
I there an Indian PR...?
Answer:
hope you are not terrorist form pakistan .
just start living out there .
Apply at the Embassy..
Anyone who is born or has a parent, grandparent or a great grandparent born in India or at any point held Indian citizenship is eligible for a lifetime visa (endoresement on the passport itself) or a PIO card (a separate passport like document), this would give the foreign national all the rights that an NRI would get, including right to remain in the country and take up employment.
Therefore as you say that you held an Indian passport previously you should have no problem applying for either of the above.
Also, having a property in India in your name would greatly help your application.
All this is of course relevant if you would rather do it the right way than the normal way they do it India, just get there and live happily ever after, I am not sure if they have an IND/INS equivalent there waiting to throw you out! (just kidding do not take the last paragraphy seriously)
You should ask that in an Indian website or answer group.
