All my friends who have visas use lawyers and legal services to make sure their i's are dotted and t's crossed to prevent rejection. This indicates that they were walked through in all probability. They are still handing out student visas without investigating without doing all the required processing such that they are working all over this region and have never been accepted into a University or academic environment which is required prior to approval for a student visa. Someone said to me so what if they are also renewing tourist visas for 15 years while people work in the US on them for 15 years in a row at least they are here legally. It is not legal to be in the US or any other country on a tourist visa and work.
