Why don't illegal aliens learn English from their kids and lay down that Mexico oath?

If Mexicans, illegal or not, are going to be here, they should learn how to speak English. IF (like I would want to) went to Mexico to live, I would have to know how to speak Spanish (which I don't) to get a job and live down there. It's stupid that we have to bend backwards for them when they come to our country, the USA, that is an ENGLISH speaking country. Our ancestors had to learn English when they migrated here years ago, so why should now be any different. It's upsetting to call a business or company and hear press 1 for English, or see kids come home with the backside of their homework in Spanish.
They need to pledge allegiance to the United States of America

LAST I CHECKED THEIR WERE ONLY 4 WEEKS IN A MONTH, THUS THEY WOULD ONLY LEARN 4 WORDS PER MONTH.
THEY SHOULD SEND THEIR KIDS TO MEXICO TO TEACH THE REST OF THE MEXICANS. THAT WAY THEY COULD GET HERE KNOWING THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE ALREADY.
You realize of course that English is not the official language of the U.S.? Also, you must know that the U.S. has no official language, right?
If Mexican-Americans don't want to learn English, then they shouldn't feel pressured to. But if they want to, more power to them. Remember, America is meant to be a mesh of cultures, not a battle of dominance.
because they aren't here to learn English,there are here to take.they have no allegiance to this country and most hate us.they shouldn't be here to have to worry about learning english but thats up to our government to fix.

a mexican woman i worked with said why should she learn. she has her daughter to talk for her. not all want to learn, that shows laziness. i have also noticed in plants the mexicans from mexico will do a job that is easy and the americans are doing the hard labor. if they are put to help with the heavy lifting they yell racist.
Most actually do know English. You are putting all into a group of never learning the English language. I was in a restaurant and heard some Latinos speaking Spanish and how it's unknown to many English speaking Americans that they are thought of not knowing English. They know more then what most people think. Being multi-lingual is a plus for everybody.
