Why yes, I've heard there is, but I'm pretty sure it just encourages violence and ignorance. Think about it. What is it going to do? The Mexicans are going to think you're all racist, even though you're not. And although I'm sure you're a reasonable and articulate citizen, can you imagine who else a gathering like this might attract? I'm reminded of South Park "They took our jeeaaaab!" guys. It could definitely get ugly and violent, and I wouldn't want to be there. There are better ways to voice your opinion, and remember - there's a reason it's already illegal. The government is taking steps to strengthen border security, and a couple South Texas farmers standing there aren't going to do anything but get sarsparilla thrown at them.
