Does anyone know a pro bono INS lawyer in the San Jose, CA area?
Answer:
This is what I did but I did not talk to a lawyer. I live in PA and went to the literacy council of my town, as they teach English to immigrants I thought they might be able to help me. The lady gave me the phone # of an office ( not related to the literacy council) . I called and explained my case. They said they could help me and scheduled an appointment. So I went and talk to an immigration consultant ( not a lawyer) for FREE. I saw her twice and she said that after I received my interview appointment I should go see her again
This lady was very nice and kind and helped me a lot.
I tried to find cheap lawyers but I couldn't do it. They cost a lot of money. So I talked to a consultant and did not pay anything.
It worked for me. My case was not difficult.
If you are illegal aliens in this country just go back to your country and try it next time legally.
Go to Answerology.com and look up the username "GreekAttorney" or "Greek Attorney." I do not remember if there is a space in it or not. He might be able to help you.
