Does the australian government offer benefits to ppl like the us?

i want to leave the us, i am poor, the us government gives me money for food and personal items and a home to live in, does the australian government provide that sort of help to ppl? will the australian government want me to eat psychotropic drugs if it learns i have a mental disorder (what other governments offer that sort of assistance or would want me to be treated because of my disorder)
