yes, i have a sibling worked in the US as a nurse under skilled worker/independent visa. after completing less than 3 yrs consecutive employment, she applied for landed or resident visa.after 5 yrs. living in the US she applied for citizenship. now enjoying her life as a US citizen legally and not a burden to the government.She even petitioned my sister and father under the FAMILY CLASS.My father is already 55 yo, but still working hard in a restaurant, keeping the mess around, just to pay tax, not to become a welfare and not to be put-down by ignorant americans. although my sisters can afford to give him a nice life in your country even without working anymore.
