What r the qualities of a good citizen?

Answer:
You work & contribute to society. You dont break the law or otherwise endanger others. You pay taxes & are not a drain on those around you (unless handicapped). You vote regularly. You raise you children (if you have them) to be good citizens.
Assimilating with the local culture and language, following the law and paying your taxes.
Remember the Golden rule Treat others as you yourself would like to be treated in return.
Obey the citizenship edicts of the Ten Commandments is a good start. I mean, coveting your neighbor's *** is probably not a good citizenship thing. Killing would probably not earn the good neighbor award for you either. And certainly stealing your neighbor's brand new 50 inch flatscreen would not endear yourself to others. Discounting the religious edicts of the big Ten, there are still things in them that a good citizen could live by.

Question authority is probably a good citizen characteristic. It keeps government on their toes and responsive to the people; that's good citizenship as well. A good citizen is not one who blindly follows the laws of government..."My country, right or wrong, my country" is not the motto of a good citizen.
Obey the law. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Respect the rights and beliefs of others. Work hard for your possions do not do it the easy way by living off the government or the people who work hard.
