Answer:
Write or call the Bureau of Vital Statistics in the capital of whichever state you were born in and they will for a fee send you a certified copy of your birth certificate. If you are an American born abroad as one of my sons, you will have to go through the American Consulate.
What ever your state is dept of vital statistics birth records
Contact to the town/city hall of the town/city you were born in and ask. You may have to pay a small fee though.
