I've tried to follow all leads to find out but I have hit a brick wall. As it stands I have to apply for a holliday visa to visit the states I can't simply turn up and fill out a visa waiver form. The problem was after returning from canada after they refused me entry because of car import problems. I have tried to contact immigration to sort this out on many occasions and all that has happened is they have advised me to get a holiday visa. I'm concerned this will cause me problems since I live a less than mainstream lifestyle in the UK. I am unemployed and out of education. I receive a job seekers allowance and If I was to travel to the states I don't know if it is possible to get a letter from an employer to say that i had a job secured on my return I am very much someone who likes to travel and i don't know what i need for a holiday visa. My main problem is that they only told me they found cocain in my car and I don't know if I should trust that. How would an officer know?

If you know that you infact did not have illegal drugs in the car but infact legal meds,, you can get a copy of that from the pharmacy,,, i have no idea why immigration or the police have not checked into that,,,, all you have to do is give them the name and number of the pharmacy that prescribed it to you...

They just didn't want you to enter Canada. . . End of story. Suck it up, travel, do your thing & forget about entering Canada. . .
You were positive for an illegal drug. You should not be allowed here. You broke the law, whether it is intentional or not. Now, if some friend left it there, then snitch him off.
If you didn't do cocaine, you wouldn't be in such a mess. We reap what we sow. Sorry I just don't have any answers that can help you except to just stay in your own country. We don't need anymore druggies here.
It doesn't matter what they found, you court records say you had drugs. I would suggest you for go coming to American and get your life straight there in the UK. We have enough screwed up head cases here. The officer would know about cocaine as I am sure they had it tested. You are lucky you were not arrested. So stay home in the UK.
