Who thinks obama....?

do you want obama to win? yes or no ...if no tell why u dont want to win. and do u think there is a difference between muslim black and american black? just give me your opinion.

Answer:
Can't American blacks be Muslim?

Sorry - I was sidetracked by that part of your question.

I would not vote for Obama, and it has nothing to do with being black. He is a globalist, and I think he would be bad for the working class and what remains of the middle class.

PS - I would gladly vote for Colin Powell.
HE WON'T BE IN THE RUNNING, SO HE CANNOT WIN.............HILLARY WILL BE RUNNING AND I WILL NOT
VOTE FOR HER.....WHY, ????DON'T WANT BILLY BOY BACK IN THE WHITE HOUSE
i don't think his "color" should be an issue. my issue is that i don't know enough about him, his views, politics or morals. until the election "wars" start, my opinion will not be cemented.
no...he has a muslim background he hasnt fully expunged or renounced...we are at war with most of radical islam...I feel he may try to make concessions to them as a way to peace.....also,he has zero experience in world affairs...he is a first term everything...he is as scary,in a different way,as the hilldemon is
Yes, I think he would make a fine president, a breath of fresh air after the most corrupt and criminal administration on record.
I hate to say it just on name recognition he is going to lose. It has nothing to do with being black, but obama might as well be a well known terrorists name if you catch my drift.

I'm neither a republican nor democrat, but I really don't like any of the candidates so far.
Id rather Clinton win for the Democrats, that would make the Democrats easy to defeat w/ Guiollini or Mccain (sp on both of them).

I beleive it will come down to Obama vs Guiollini; and since Guiollini is more of an independant than a Republican, he'll win.
no difference in a muslim black or an american black. barack HUSSEIN obama will not be elected president in '08.
I am liking a lot of what I have been hearing about him, so I think I can say yes. I like him a lot better than Hillary. And, yes, there is a huge difference between muslim black and "american" black. I don't know why you are asking this comparison, though, because you can also have american muslim black and american christian black. Personally, I would not like to have a white or black muslim as president, but I don't mind a white or black president. The color doesn't matter, as long as they are American and want to do the best they can for Americans and not just what is best for illegal immigrants or big business or other countries of the world. The president needs to remember who he/she works for - the American citizens.
Give the man a fair chance. Isn't that's what this country is about? Who cares if he's red, black, purple or green. If he has high standards and a great out look on our future don't you think he should get a chance, at least?

How about the guy we call prez now? I pity the next person in office who ever that may be. The new prez will have the job of fixing every thing ol GWB messed up!
Your question is both confusing and without thought, there are many American Muslims living in this country. Remember "freedom of religion ?".....
1) I don't care about the color of a candidate's skin.
2) I have done some researched and Obama is Christian according to his own website. Maybe you should do some research on the web......
3) I won't vote for Obama at this time as he has very little political experience .
There you have my opinion.
Hes a nobody like all the rest,Tancredo or nobody for me.
I like him but I feel he may have hit a wrong note in not distancing himself from the remarks made about Hillary Clinton by that man who has given 1.8 million to his campaign. The one who made the documentary about Obama.
He made the the statement: why should he apologize for the remarks of another. Because it looks like he is using someone else to do his dirty work. He won't say anything derogatory about an other persons himself but he will not say that he does not approve of that type of mud slinging by another close to him. I don't approve of that & feel that either he should make those statements himself or make a statement that he does not approve of that type of dirt being said about another candidate.
Of course there is a difference between an American black & a Muslim black. Although we do have some American black Muslims in this country, Obama is not one of them.
Do I want Barrack Obama to win the Democratic Nomination?

Yes. I would prefer him over Hillary Clinton. I can't say for sure about winning the Presidency, because I don't know who his Republic and Independent opponents will be. I vote based on issues, not political party, and I read both of his books which were very impressive. I disagree with his stance on immigration, but overall he has an appeal like JFK. I think the paranoid concerns about his middle name are unfounded, and I think he would a much better President than the one who is in the White House now. I am looking forward to next year when the debates and the Presidential campaigns are in full swing.

Islam is a religion, American is a nationality. The only muslims I am against are radical Sunni muslim terrorists, which Obama is not.
I don't want him to win because he's too liberal and never really takes a stand on anything. He is very intelligent and nice and gives great speeches but I don't agree with him on alot of things. He's a senator in my state so I'm a little more famaliar with how he votes.
No, I would not want him to win in 2008, but maybe later depending on his future performance. He has not the credentials for the most difficult job on the planet. He has been a state senator, which hardly counts at all and only a federal senator for two years. That would count more, but "two years?". And, he has no executive experience at all. There are a lot of people who look good in a group of 100 but who cannot function alone.

Come to think of it, Hillary doesn't have many credentials, either, unless you count proximity among them. But, as a member of the foreign relations committee, she at least knows the Belgium is and country and not a city. That is not a ringing endorsement, but more than Obama has.

I think that Obama could be a very attractive candidate with more experience and testing if he can stay the course. Many nice looking candidates have been able to self-destruct in the past. But electing a president because he is "likeable" is silly. My garbage man is very likeable, too, maybe more so than Obama.

The race issue is a dead one with most of the electorate. Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell have their constituents based on ability and not on race, and there is a very long list of black men and women who are admired by everyone. Anyone who can do well in running the country has a shot these days.

His religion has nothing to do with the issue, one way or the other, as long as he does not have too much of it. There are enough problems in the world today because of that!

Obama's day may come, but I hope not this time around.
I can't say for sure YET. I will say however, that I think he doesn't have much political experience. The hard part is figuring out whether that just might be a GOOD thing. The previous presidents who have been around the political; scene for a long time, seem to just keep the same dirty habits. A man who hasn't been quite so indoctrinated might be a wonderful change of pace. Or perhaps they would eat him alive.

I haven't formalized an opinion yet.

Great question, although I don't think his former-Muslim ties have much to do with anything, or that he is black.

I'd vote for ALF if he seemed the best person for the nation at the time.
I wanted SO bad to say "HE's OPRAH's man so he's mine" but I couldn't.................

And the Muslim/American kick you threw in........didn't make sense.

I haven't decided on my choice of who I want to guide my country.....in the coming years....it becomes SO much more important as my daughter grows up....THIS I do know. My choice will not be based on color, sex or ONE SPECIFIC important topic.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO and NO!!!!!!!!

Not him OR Billary, OR Kerry, OR Dean, OR Gore!!!!!!!!!!!

I think there ARE no differences between an "American" Muslim and any other type Mulsim!!!!!! Their so called "religion" teaches them to HATE all the "infidels", which is ANYONE who does NOT subscribe to THEIR beliefs!!!!!!!!

Theirs is the ONLY "religion" i know of that teaches HATE!!!!! And i would NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS vote for anyone who HATES me!!!!!!
he's not muslim
