Does anyone know if a greencard is enough to get you into germany or do i need a passport too?

Answer:
To travel between any countries, a passport is needed.
You must have a passport.
As of Jan 2007 it is required that all US citizens traveling abroad carry a current US passport. Birth Certificates, Green Cards, etc will no longer be viable for re-entry. You can go to http://travel.state.gov/passport/passpor... for information about obtaining a passport. It usually takes around 6 weeks, or 2 weeks if you pay to have it expedited. Hope that helps.
Passports are required to enter/exit any country, with the exception of some trips to Canada and Mexico from the US. As of just recently, you now have to have a passport if you fly in and out of the US from even Canada, Mexico, and travel to other places such as the Carribbean, Bahamas, etc.

Even if not required, the best idea is to get a passport anyway. If nothing else, it will help speed your trip through Customs.
you still have to have a passport
A passport for sure
A passport is needed and depending upon German laws you may need a visa to enter the country.
