Malaysian give birth in Singapore?

I am Malaysian PR will be delivering my baby in Singapore. How can i register him as malaysian?

Answer:
is your husband a malaysian citizen? if he is...

deliver your baby and get the birth certificate. you have 40 days to register with the malaysian embassy in jervois road. bring photos, birth cert, your marriage cert, your ics and your passport.... they will tell u more details there...

i did the same thing!
Go to Malaysia to give birth thereat so that the baby will be a Malaysian.
According to law your baby will be the citizen of Singapore
Tell the registrar you are going to follow jus sanguinis of the parents, that is your child must follow the citizenship of parents.
both parents have to be Malaysian citizen with marry certificate register in Malaysia initially
then gets the Malaysia Embassy to help with the registration
If you are a Malaysian PR, that means you are not a Malaysian. So what is your citizenship?
Since you are a permanent resident of Malaysia and not a citizen as of yet, it is very crucial where the baby is actually born; but, it is not that difficult to remedy.

While you baby will be a citizen of Singapore, once you obtain Malaysian citizenship, you can petition for the child to become one also.

Also if the father is currently a Malaysian citizen, all he has to do is file the petition at the Malaysian embassy in Singapore after the child is born.
