I've always been against this idea. It works both ways. IF they are trying to show the country that we can't get along without them and they don't succeed. Well It just reaffirms that we can pass stricter legislation. But if it works, then we may have to rethink things.

It is an odd strategy - what happens when Americans break the law? Illegal is illegal - whether it is is immigration or a felony.
Want to be an American? Earn it. Be part of the military for no less than 5 years and then you can be naturalized. That would go for ANY illegal alien, from ANY country.
They are not allowed to protest. You must first be a citizen of this country. Why can they not protest in their home country, than perhaps, their country could find a way to become great like our country did. I have no problem with immigration, legal immigration that is. Learn English, pay your taxes and do it right. They have no right to protest, and it makes me laugh when they bring flags of other nations to that protest, what a joke.
The US should go back to the laws for immigration control alike the 60's, it was about 200k a year. Now it is up to 1mil immigrants coming to the US per year, when they start having children, by the year 2030, we Americans will be the minority's. WAKE UP AMERICA!
Actually, our Constitution protects everyone within our borders. But I sincerely hope our boys and girls were out there deporting them as they marched. There are plenty of ways to become a legal citizen.
