Would some of the immigrants want citizenship bad enough that if the US sent them home to apply for visa......
Answer:
No, I believe that MOST of them would NOT want this badly enough to comply with something like this. I believe that MOST of them do NOT want to be here legally - they know that it is much cheaper for them to keep things the way they are. I believe that MOST of them here have no intention of staying in the US for good as they come with the idea to make a lot of money in a few years and return home to live well on what they made here. US citizenship is not something that most of them want - that is just a myth perpetuated by Americans who think that all illegal immigrants want nothing more than to be legal US citizens - they could care less about that! They know that if they are legal, they will have to pay taxes and will no longer qualify for free medical care - they will be in the same boat as the poorest US citizens who also don't qualify for free medical care. No, most illegals like their status to stay the way it is.
To answer your question i think that all of them that want to live in a free country would come back because there are so many opportunity here, but i think sending back to the immigrants back to there country is a big problem for them because there not able to come back.
They don't want it bad enough to stop complaining when we deport criminals.....they don't want it bad enough to stop complaining about enforcing any of our laws.....they don't want it bad enough to even try to abide by our laws....they don't want it bad enough to learn English....so no.....I seriously doubt there's many that would actually even consider going back. They've gotten away with too much for too long to be noble now.
