How can I (US citizen) and my fiance (french citizen) get married in the US.?
thanks for the help
Answer:
its easir than u think----u can get married in france or the states---if u got married in france ---go to the us embassy and get her visa from there and once she gets here ----she can apply for work permit, and she will reciveit in a month-------or she can come with u first to the us and do all the paper work over here.---
btw --u do not need a lawyer its a waste of money------just do it urself--------
See an immigration lawyer. It requires a lot of paperwork.
Definately see an immigration attorney. They attorney can guide you through the right forms, help put together everything you will need and present it to CIS. They can be found by opening up the phone book. If I had to guess, you would need to get a "bring my finacee to the US" visa. I don't know if she would be able to work or go to school on such a visa, but you could find out from CIS or the attorney. Things will definately not work quick but they do work.
Agreed, are you over 30?i f not , there's many more to choose from.
SEEK THE COUNSEL OF AN IMMIGRATION LAWYER. MAKE SURE SHE'S NOT JUST GETTING MARRIED TO BECOME AN AMERICAN CITIZEN. WATCH THE MOVIE GREENCARD.
you should take a look at the French embassy's website

It will give some usefull info.
Hire an immigration lawyer, and when you guys want to get married in the US, she will need a fiancee visa to get here. Fiancee visa takes about 3 months.
