Does anybody know if you can be refused a visa to enter Australia if you have had a drink driving ban in the UK. Do they count it as a criminal conviction?

I don't think they would count it as a ciminal offence, driving offences tend to be different here, however it may depend which visa. Try contacting DIMIA (Department of Immigration):

AS far as i no i dun think AUST has such policy of refusing any1 due to drunk driving...criminal record maybe..
I wouldn't think they would refuse you a visa for that but they may ban you from driving whilst there, unless of course injuries resulted from your drinking.
