Why is there no Canadian immigration problem?

Just wait a few years once the low level jobs start running out in the US and the illegals keep coming over the border there is only one way to climb a ladder up up up you'll have your problem if we dont fix ours.
Who wants to live in Canada? In all seriousness, immigrants go to where the jobs are. The Canadian economy has been sputtering under national health care for a while.
Oh, we've got one for sure, unless there's a problem with us going there to live.
Unfortunately, as is usual, Americans in general know little of Canada. Our health care system is not user-pay but it's paid for out of our income taxes. We support each other, as it were. The FIRST President Clinton made a reasonable attempt to deliver some form of this to the USA, but the HMO's et al lobbied the Republican-dominated Congress to death when they took over in 1994 and you never had a chance! Virtually no one in this country goes without health care, and mostly that's out of ignorance or pride or plain stupidity. You've got, at last count 46,000,000 people uninsured in the USA. I've seen personally people walk away from a hospital or a clinic several times, especially in Florida, because they didn't have 'up-front' money or insurance and they were really sick(one was a little boy with his mom, one was an elderly lady). That's a disgrace. Please, look in your own backyard first and get your facts straight about other countries.
We don't have a huge influx of Canadian immigrants because they are pretty much a socialist society with a strong enough economy and good free health care system that its population doesn't feel the need to run to the U.S. However lately there has been a crackdown on the border due to the number of foreigners who go to Canada because it is easier to get in and then come to America with terrorist intents.
No Americans expect to immigrate to Canada. Except the United States, which nation is Canada's neighbourhood. The reason is obvious,
1. Canadians want us to support there econemy with our tourist dollars.
2. They generate power that keeps N.Y.C. in power & they sell us alot of oil, Gas, & Cigurettes, booze, & some new cars.
3. Canadian healthcare is worth what you pay for it Nothing.
Canadians have a very good economy and so they don't feel the need to go to the USA. In fact, a lot of Americans have been immigrating to Canada lately.
That isn't what I've heard from Canadians.
However, their land mass is similar to ours and their population much smaller. They are more like we were about numbers of immigrants back when we had space. They still have to pay for social services for them and still have impacted culture, but don't have the overcrowding problem in schools etc., that we have, yet.

If you meant why aren't they coming here in masses it is because unlike our neighbors to the south, the Canadian government DOES pay for universal education and even better health care than ours. There are still reasons for people to move, but not in huge waves like we get from South of our border where countries don't offer universal education for their poor.
simply because they dont want to mess-up their lives.canada is one of the best place to live-in.acceptance of migrants are welcome and they are not that too racist unlike the locals of USA.their politics is not that too AMBITIOUS,just care first themeselves before interfering to others' business.observe the people who shared answers on this site,most of them are americans who wants to kill illegal immigrants!!!Have their own opinions yes,but putting down on these people TOO MUCH is sometimes heartless.The fact is,if no americans offering low-income job(taking advantage to illegals),illegals wont even think coming to USA putting thier own lives in risk>its just like americans gives "BAITS" on the mouth of illegals.it is just a JOB which illegals are craving in, not a good life in USA because they know well that living there illegally is one of a HELL!!! I watched lots of interviews to illegals by US tv stations and there's just one answer to the question WHY YOU WANT TO RISK YOUR LIFE CROSSING THE BORDER?---JOB!Lots of US company hired illegals because of low-labour-cost, which means taking advantage of them.and these illegals will just take it without a second-thought because dollars when converted to their respective currency is far-far higher than back home.however they also want to pay tax if only they can or allowed,but unfortunately NO WAY!!
canada let's anyone in. however, three years ago the country was unable to account for over 30,000 immigrants that had entered the country and then couldn't be found.
