For LEGITIMATE immigrants (who followed the laws faithfully and have a legal right to be here) who have a green card and wish to become citizens, the process now takes an average of NINE years...so any fool who tells you that illegal immigration is no big deal...just ask the fine folks that DID follow the law and must suffer because of the 12 million illegals that have ruined the process for everyone else.
