Why developed countries see "illegal inmigration" as a big problem and don´t see "legal business weapons as it
Answer:
Because the process of migration is too lengthy and difficult for a common person to go through the whole process.
If you want to talk about selling arms, you are simply on the wrong board. On this board we discuss immigration. It is not our only concern in life.
However, they are ruining our schools and draining social services we need for our own people, so it is a serious problem. If you only care to trivialize it, perhaps you would like to set up a 'selling arms to different armies' page where you and likeminded folk can discuss that.
Have fun.

Maybe because they come here illegally. It undermines the efforts of those who come here legally. Illegal immigrants make up 20-30 percent of individuals in the federal prison system. They work jobs Americans don't take because of the illegal level of pay (below minimum wage) which causes pay at similar positions that conduct business legally to stay low since it discourages employers to offer competitive wages. An estimated forty percent of illegal immigrants don't pay taxes while the ones who do do it with stolen social security numbers (a crime in and of itself). Even though some are paying taxes, the taxes they pay only covers two thirds of the amount of public services they use. Should I go on.Illegal immigration cause more of a burden than supports society's welfare. Those are just part of the reason they are a big problem.
Weapons that come from developed countries are being used to kill, but what about the people who are killing? Why are you trying to take the blame away from them and placing it on another? What are you doing to stop it, I mean since it is your country and all? They would kill with or without these weapons and would get there hands on these weapons since most developed nations don't randomly sell them. A major contributor to these weapons being sold is the fall of the USSR and the weapons it had being 'lost.'
Why are you assuming that we don't see the weapons trade as a problem? Just because it isn't 'on the front page' doesn't mean that people are for it. Illegal immigration gets the attention of the nations because domestic issues are usually at the for front.
Two totally difference subjects, illegal immigration is a problem in this country, and if a illegal immigrant murdered your daughter, and then fled the country you'd be the 1st to ask for tighter controls on immigration, and who would blame you.
Weapons sales are more to do with business which helps pay our balance of payments, sure we know that America is paying the price for supporting the Taliban in Afghanistan when the Russians were there, but its the old story if we don't sell arms, then someone else will, and maybe its better to know what your enemy have in their arsenal !
i have repeatedly stated that i have serious concerns re immigration to the UK from any country. I have no problem with people coming to Britain to work legally pay their taxes and national insurance etc particularly if areas of skill or personal shortage. However i feel that we need to insure that we control the legals by a system similar to the NZ government , where each applicant is screen against national and economic need and only gains immigration privileges on merit basis. As for illegals we should tighten our border control markedly and remove them from the UK asap. once this happens the polarisation between the various groups in the UK should settle quickly
While I am sympathetic to some of what you say, once you start blaming one group of people for all the world's problems, you're on the slippery racist slope. Britain has certainly started her fair share of wars, committed countless atrocities, and we are the second biggest arms dealers in the world. All true. But what about the Spanish Conquistadores ? The German Nazis ? The people whose name I can't spell who are committing genocide in Darfur ? The Serbs in Bosnia ?
Every single group of people can commit atrocities unfortunately, and I resent your saying that my lot, appalling though they are, are worse than anyone else.
In so-called developed countries, illegal immigrants are just the latest group of people that the government, through the media, has chosen to demonise as a scapegoat.
It makes no sense to me to vilify illegal immigrants and yet have no problem with legal immigrants. Legal immigrants come here in far greater and more significant numbers than illegal immigrants. Since legal immigrants are allowed to claim for housing, benefits, medical care and education, surely they are the ones who would be accused of draining the economy/tax payer's money?
Illegal immigrants do not have access to state funds and facilities, they work for a very low wage and do not pay tax and national insurance. They help to fund and maintain the "black economy" in so- called developed countries. If they seek medical help, the hospital or treatment centre are obliged to report them to the immigration department. Any action on their part which calls their identity into question is avoided, unless they have given up and want to be deported.
And yes, I would agree with you that immigrants, legal or illegal, are either fleeing conflicts which developed countries have played a major part in or economic circumstances brought about by former colonial rule by so-called developed countries.
The chickens have indeed come home to roost.
