Immigration laywer $?
Answer:
You dont need a lawyer you can do it on your own. If you get a lawyer they can run you about $2500 PLUS you have to pay all of the fee's with the government. I went through this and am still in it with my husband- He's from England Im in the USA.
First off you have to fill out the I-129F for the Fiance visa and everythign that goes with it. I did all of this on our own and saved a load of money by not getting a lawyer. Go to.. www.uscis.gov - everythign you need is on that site. Also.. if you have any questions on this stuff.. since Im at the end of it finally took 10 months. He's here and we are just trying to get the Perm Residency Card- which will take 6 more months! lol
Feel free to email me regarding this! I'll be happy to help you out without making you spend all that money on a lawyer that will be useless! Good Luck and Congratulations!!
I do not know the cost,,but it is a lot cheaper than trying to get a Mexican fixed.. We have better relations with Canada than with Mexico,,,good luck,,,
Lawyers costs vary a lot. The price seems to be anywhere from $1000 US to $2000 US, although some are more expensive.
If you are detail oriented, organized and aren't here illegally, already, I doubt you absolutely need a lawyer. The forms are at uscis.gov.
However, you can get a free first consultation and estimate from an attorney, typically, and can check with the state bar at least to get a referral to someone who isn't under bar disciplinary action, if you don't know an attorney to use.
I say we keep you and deport the Lawyers. I know nice try but no country would take them.
It's between $1, 000 to $2,000. Alot of people do not like going through a lawyer. But all the paper work really is pain and you have to fill out everything correctly. My thought is why not pay someone is is an expert on the subject. Plus it sort of helps waiting in line and asking questions at the INS office, because if you have an attorney you don't have to do that.
I did my US resident paper work through an attorney. I was able to pay it in 2 payments. Which made it a lot easier to handle the payment.
Attorney fees vary greatly. Call or email around to check rates. Also, you don't need to hire an attorney in the area where you will live in the U.S., so feel free to look far and wide.
