Am i eligible for a 400k plan with a green card...???

or to i have to be a citizen? ps: i have a work permit and green card, but not the citizenship.... am i still eligible or not?

Answer:
Any legal resident is eligible for every rights under the Labor Act. and Labor Laws. Citizens and Permanent residents have the same exact rights.
The ONLY difference between both statuses is the right to vote for federal matters and some very specific state matters. Also to become US president you must be born in the USA.
Other than that you have the same exact rights.

The employer cannot deny you benefit rights if you are allowed to work legally (work permit or permanent residence which grants you to work legally de facto)
I think it depends where you work.
Yes. I hear Bank of America has a great plan!
You are eligible for a 401k even before you get a green card. I joined my company's before I got my green card, so yes, you can.
