In what way(s) is American big business responsible for the rampant illegal immigration in this country?
I am interested in knowing what are American businesses doing to attract illegal aliens. It might be here that we find a solution to the illegal alien crisis. If we wouldn't attract them, they wouldn't come. They come for money, who's paying them? Exactly how is this so...I suspected a restaurant in my neighborhood was hiring illegal aliens. The employees were mainly Mexican, they kept strictly to themselves even if you attempted to befriend them. Why? I assume because they didn't want anyone to "bust their cover." The owner seems just as guilty...

The penalties do not overcome the profit gain.
I wonder if you shop with that thought in mind, because you are responsible too. When products are purchased or you eat at a place you "think" has this "problem" you support it as well.
Social consciousness is not to sit back and complain, it's about doing something about it. If these businesses did not have the customers, they would cease this practice. If you feel strongly about this issue spend twice the amount you would normally, for products that are in line with your views.
Unfortunately I do not share your view point on this issue.
Without a doubt, business, big and small are the lure of illegal immigration they are in bed with out politicians. Every night you see illegals crossing with only the shirts on the backs, there has to be a under ground railroad of sorts that delievers these illegals to family or friends then in turn they provide homes and jobs.
Businesses get cheap labor. American politicians get the votes of the illegals if they allow amnesty. Enforcing the laws and busting THE EMPLOYERS big time will stop the incentive of hiring illegals, and they won't be crossing the border as often. Some "sanctuary cities" such as San Francisco openly invites illegal aliens and tells their police not to enforce laws and not bust illegals. It's insane and will drag this country down the toilet.
Back in the OLD days...they kept people from knowing what was going on by not teaching them to read. People weren't stupid. They kept women and children and other minorities from just being able to read. If you could read.you knew something. If not...you were at their mercy.
Yes...the owner is just as guilty as the rest. They knew and witheld the information to benefit themselves at the expense of another.
Seriously..this is actual TODAY problems that face not only our illegal people but our own citizens.
Pizza delivery driver. Ask a typical American and they think.it's a highschool kid and he's getting paid minimum wage and this is basicly a job that teaches you responsibility and map reading. No big deal.
NO..our pizza delivery drivers are "sub-contractors" without knowing that. They are not on a payroll. They can't get unemployment, they don't get workmans comp and they work and there's nothing going to social security or anything else. NOTHING to protect them or the families. All they get is what tips you leave ABOVE what you pay. But if you're like me..you say..no...these are kids getting the basics and the rest is icecream on the cake. Sorry again. Sorry..WRONG.
I honestly can't imagine the life many illegales have. These people sell their children, their bodies, anything. I THOUGHT FREE TRADE was to stop that? I thought that's we wanted . I thought it's what it was supposed to be.

American businesses, large and small, are up to their necks in responsibility for the problem with illegal aliens. Entire industries have been taken over by illegal aliens. That's why Bush supports illegal immigration.
