I need help with learning the french language here and the immigration dept will not help me???Where do I turn
Answer:
Have a look in the library. I get language courses on cd by Pimmsleur. You can also get a DVD and best is a headset with a speaker so the computer can analyze your voice. Also try approaching your sons' school and asking them for advice.
you might be able to buy a bilingual book. try talking to the people in your area, town. hopefully they will understand your desire to learn they're language.
Check out the Rosetta Stone language learning!
Hi,
Most highschools and adult ed centres offer great courses. Emploi Quebec also offers courses to help people (immigrants) get into the work force.
Take a look at the local library and get books with cd'S.
If you have canadian citizenship, the education is supposed to be "free" for you too (it cost peanuts compared to other countries). You can ask for financial help from the government. They will lend you money to study and if when you are finished, you don't find a job right away, they will work it out so you can pay when you find a work.
