I see your true question, not what everyone else sees.
Living in a zoo would suck, because there are like 6 billion people on Earth and were cramping up already(look at prices for land in SoCal). we would probably be killed if we throw poo at our "overlords" and for all we know they might kill someone every hour on the hour as a live demonstration to show how our heart beats and what stuff looks like inside of us as we are still alive.
And this sorta goes with immigration, if the aliens immigrated here to escape religious persecution(theyre quakers)

I'd rather be an aliens pet than an aliens dinner. I practice being cute every day just in case it ever happens.
If all I have to do all day is walk around in circles, relieve myself when neccesary, and have someone else feed me and take care of me, sign me up.
It has to be better than working my a** off every day for the rest of my life.

Frankly, living in a zoo wouldn't be that bad. . .consider: if they run their zoo like we run ours, we must live in our normal habitat, be encouraged to have normal relationships with one another, and be fully fed, clothed, and temperature controlled as reasonably feasible.
So think about it: we could get up in the morning, have three free meals a day and go about wasting time as we please!
It doesn't get much better than that. Isn't this what modern society is going for?
Of course, having a plate glass window next to us when we're sleeping or using the bathroom would be quite disturbing, but if we're in a cage, we don't really have much choice.
No, we would not be hypocrites. Intelligence is not the issue it's the fact that we are self aware and animals are not.
If using intelligence were the only factor then you could justify having all college educated persons put those who haven't graduated high school in a zoo.
it depends who im livin with....see if i was with my friends and people that are kool then i guess i wouldnt mind that much but if i hated the poeple i was with i would rebel like Pope and the Pueblos against the Spanish (just did hw on it so...)....i would revolt against those aliens!!THEY ARE GOIN DOWN!!
its not a question of being smart or not. Animals dont have language therefore no civilization no technology, which is totally different from our relashionship with aliens ! but i agree, we should not put animals in cage, its cruel and inhuman and we still do it !!! :(

depends how would we be treated? and what would we be given? i am sorry if i am looking at this wrong but don't we all just want a comfortable fun place to be plenty to eat and a mate in life? so if the aliens gave you all those things why complain isn't that just ideal?
i'd live in a zoo as long as it was understood that i require about 6,000 acres of land as my home territory and had a nice manor house, or castle as my abode, lots of women to keep me company (and privacy in my mating rituals) and lots of time, money and space to pursue my pleasures.
oh, i'd also want it to be understood that for humans, absolute freedom is required or we're not really in our natural habitat - therefore i'd be able to come and go as i please.
so, if that's how they'd define zoo (basically them setting me up and paying all my bills while i mess around) then, sure, i'd be fine with it...
