Illegal Migrants = Modern day slaves.?
But they are even better
1. Unlike slaves thay are more productive (Since they actiually can be let go into nowhere),
2. You dont buy them - You finance them or lease them - Just make payments (Their salary) (their salary is like payments for the car instead of buying it)
3. Unlike purchased slaves, you can have them seasonally (Slaves in off season are bad - they can start mutinee oand you need to feed them).
IS it Why democrats like it???
Answer:
i think so, illegal immigrants are the new slaves of the 21st century.
It is the Republican capitalist who are using these peoples labor.
you're right, they do make excellent slaves! But its a shame on our country and this thing should be stopped. We do need some slavery, but I recommend using criminals or weed-smoking teens for that purpose...
Please do not blame this totally on the democrats. I believe it was your saint Reagan that set the standard by allowing the first amnesty. I am a democrat, and totally against illegal immigration so please don't lump into one catagory.
Also keep in mind that this country has always gotten people of color to do its dirty work. This goes straigt to big business.
First of all they volunteer to work for very low pay. No one forced them to cross the border. I'd love to see more of an effort from americans to compete with them, but because of the pressures caused by the Dems, they can't. With the increase of minimal wage and the amount of taxes and perments that americans have to pay for, it is harder for them to work at such a low pay. In the economy you have to make money to survive, and they show more of an effort to recieve it then most Americans do.
Type O Negative: Of course they are, economically we all are forced to work. Unless your a lazy welfare moochin dropout.
The way I see it, they are here illegally and deserve what they get.
While you are worrying about these illegal people watch your property taxes increase to pay for educating their unfortunately legal children along with paying for all their medical bills.
hey it they want to come here and work come here legally.dont cross the border in the middle of the night and forge social documents.hell they are making out better living conditions than what they had.they had a special on either dateline or primtime .it was somewhere in Colorado.illegal immigrants living 15 in a 2 bedroom house splitting $800 a month rent and paying the bills .well they are making 14 dollars an hour .tell me where American citizens are making that min wage.plzz they are doing just fine.now when they are in Mexico or where ever they know that they are not getting a gold spoon handed to them when they.come here illegally get your citizenship the right way and get **** on just like the rest of us.they are getting what we have to work and pay for ,for not even being american..the only difference is they will do any kind of work.we have alot of americans who wont do it cause they know they will. and do it for less pay

Illegal Immigration
From the Monday Deseret News
Focus on victims of illegal immigration
By Ronald W. Mortensen
Having responded to some of the world's most tragic humanitarian crises including the genocide in Darfur , Sudan , and the earthquake in Pakistan , I have seen innocent people who have lost everything - homes, children and parents.
In Darfur, people pass their lives in desolate camps where their homes consist of a few sticks with a sheet of plastic draped over them, a jerry can for their water supply, a couple of pots and pans, an open fire to cook on and a hole in the ground for a bathroom. Children fall sick one day and die the next. These people truly merit our compassion.
Now compare that to the compassion advocated by the supporters of in-state tuition for the "foreign-born" children of illegal immigrants. Compassion, we are told, supersedes the law, and anyone who opposes in-state tuition is labeled as being self-righteous, a zealot and a racist by the Deseret Morning News' editorial writers.
Of course, this is misplaced compassion because it encourages children to break our immigration laws while failing to acknowledge that they cannot work legally for reputable employers either before or after graduation without committing document fraud and identity theft. But, perhaps most troubling is the fact that it fails to show compassion for the true victims of illegal immigration such as the thousands and thousands of Utah children, who according to Attorney General Mark Shurtleff, have had their identities stolen by illegal aliens.
Where is the compassion for the young parents in Draper who are trying to recover their 2-year-old daughter's identity after an illegal alien used it to get two jobs, take out loans and obtain credit cards?
Where is the compassion for the family of the nurse who was recently killed when an illegal immigrant left his wrecked vehicle in the road in southern Utah ?
Where is the compassion for Utahns who must pay more for their health care in order to offset the free medical care provided to illegal immigrants?
Where is the compassion for the Utah family who has a premature baby and now faces bankruptcy while an illegal immigrant runs up hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills and pays nothing?
Where is the compassion for the Utah child who is forced into an overcrowded classroom in order to accommodate tens of thousands of illegal immigrant children?
Where is the compassion for our children who are addicted to and dying from heroin and other drugs provided by illegal immigrant drug cartels?
And why did the arrest of dozens of illegal immigrants, who committed identity theft in order to get jobs, result in an outpouring of compassion for their families rather than for their victims who have had their lives turned upside down?
If the media, the Alliance for Unity and other illegal immigrant advocates are truly concerned about Utah, let them begin by focusing on the true victims of illegal immigration - their fellow citizens whose identities have been stolen, whose health-care system is being destroyed, whose children's education is suffering and whose family members have been killed by illegal immigrants.
Then, if these advocates of misplaced compassion still wish to support those illegally in the United States, let them use their personal funds to create and support scholarships, free clinics and welfare programs for illegal aliens and let them treat those who honestly disagree with them with civility rather than childishly calling them names.

The slaves were brought here against their will. The slaves were sold by their own and purchased here by the wealthy.
Illegal immigrants are not forced here against their will.
They willing break the law to enter the country here.
Once here they again break the law by presenting themselves as employable legal immigrants. Illegal immigrants put themselves up on the open market- willingly. Nobody imports them.
The slave children were not sent to school to learn with the other children and as we are all too well aware.
Illegal immigrants send their children to school with our children and demand that we educate their children despite the fact that they require special teachers, classrooms and supplies.
Illegal immigrants prostitute themselves for those slave wages.
If they wish to be treated like every other employee in America, perhaps they should try living like every other employee in America: within the law.
I would have to say Americans are the slaves, we are the ones who have to pay for illegals medical bills, housing, welfare. We have less freedoms in America than illegals do.
There is no comparison. Illegals immigrants are not "forced by economical conditions to work for very little pay". If they CHOOSE to go to the United States illegally and work for low pay. No one puts a gun to their heads and "forces" them to sneak across the border.
I agree with the person above who says slaves were brought against their will, whereas illegals go to the US by choice. Can you prove that illegals are more productive than slaves were? All you present are opinions, not facts.
Illegals could work for very little pay where they come from, so I disagree that it is forced labor. They are also able to breed without worry of their children being sold for profit. They don't have to be subjected to cruel punishments, they are able to maintain their culture, religion and speak their language. They are not treated as animals or property, and they work under the supervision of their own people.
I wouldn't really compare their experience to the slave atrocity on any level, except that they work for lower wages than they deserve.
the part of the Constitution you are referring to is for the blacks, not illegal immigrants. why do the illegals try to put their self's in the black peoples shoes. the illegals have never been treated the way the blacks was treated during slavery. they (illegals) need to come up with a different strategy. they also need to realize blacks was brought here agents their will. the illegals come freely.
No. I don't know of any "slaves" that would run toward being a slave. NO ONE IS "FORCING" THEM TO COME HERE! In fact we would rather they STAY THERE!
And don't put all Democrats because I AM a Democrat and if you look at my other posts I am VERY MUCH AGAINST ILLEGAL ALIENS!
