Yet another question about moving to Canada!?
I have I believe 2 speeding tickets, and one misdemeanor for "throwing stones or other missiles" (when I was younger me and some friends went "egging" lol) We were fined $50 for the misdemeanor and it's never been a big deal finding a job before, but do you think Canada will not let me move there with that on my record? I'm gonna call the embassy later today but I figured I'd ask here too because the response time is usually so fast.
Thanks a lot
Darren
Answer:
I'd be surprised if they would not let you in because of simple tickets. The crime has to be more serious than that to stop you from entering.
Speeding tickets dont matter
Ontario is a great place
Pay your tickets
welcome to Canada
i will only answer the question if i can come too!
I would suggest you contact Citizenship and Immigration Canada (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp)... to get the info you need. Not many of us here are immigration experts...I doubt you'll have an issue, but its best to get the info from the professionals. Good luck to you.
