I would like to know what Americans of Mexican heritage really feel about illegals?
Answer:
It's just like anything. Some illegal (Mexicans) are very hardworking and honest. Some are very uneducated and act low-class. I think the Mexican government (and the rich in Mexico) can do a lot more to open jobs for poor Mexicans. But I also think sneaky Republican politicians here in the U.S. use the illegal immigration problem to cover most their trash and messed up policies like Iraq and hurricane Katrina. And don't forget there are illegals from all over the world living here not just Mexicans.
Why do the people have to be of Mexican heritage? Well I'm Mexican-American and I think they are just trying to make a better life and instead of people going against them, they should try to understand their situations. Us as Americans have always had everything handed to us and illegals are just trying to find those opportunities.
I have Mexican heritage, and I don't support them at all.
