our petition has been approved and the nvc has sent the approved file to paris ( i am french resident) after the screening at new hampshire. i would like to know whether or not my american fiancee would receive forms for the affidavit of support. or does it come with with the package that the american embassy is going to send me?? do i then need to send it to my fiancee in the US? actually, we have been trying to get things ready beforehand but have no idea about this affidavit of support thing!!

as a K-1 fiance, the form is I-134, it can be found at www.uscis.gov. They will normally send you the form in the information package they will send you.
the Consulate will send you an information package. It will contain list of documetns you need. You have to check them off as you get the documents (i.e. birth certificates)and send the checlist back to them.
You will bring the I-134 and supporting documents (3 years of tax returns) with you to the interview.
Everything you need to know will be in that package.
they may or may not send the form in advance. it is usually the I-134, some posts want the I-864 but that it not technically correct.
