I am unemployed from the past two months, yesterday I came to know I am eligble for unemployment, will they?

back pay me for the past two months, please help,,,thanks

Answer:
no, you won't receive back pay...the sooner you apply and are approved is when you will receive benefits....it usually takes up to 3 weeks after you apply to receive your first check and it will be for several weeks
I could be wrong- I believe that they will only pay you starting from the day you apply for benefits.
your benifits start 2 weeks from the date you file. you cannot get back pay.
no just file and be thankful for what ya get
