In the interview for UK settelement visa, what are the possible questions and the best answers?
Answer:
Just answer the questions honestly. I was never interviewed myself; I guess because I had not made repeated, failed attempts to live in the UK, and my spouse and I had been living together for a year as a couple before we married.
You say you got married to a UK permanent resident and are now applying for a spouse visa. The question I would put to you first is, what was your status when you got married? If you married a permanent UK resident, there are rules for the number of days your spouse could be out of the UK, as well as rules for the number of days you - without legal status - could be in the UK. How long did you live together before you got married, and where? And why the seeming desparation to be in the UK? What's wrong with living in your country and going to school there? Is it just because you wanted to go to a certain university or study a specialized subject not offered in your home country? Or is it because you really wanted to work?
If your marriage is 100% legitimate and the only reason you want to live in the UK is to be with your spouse, then your honest answers to whatever questions they ask you should be sufficient. If not...then you should stay where you are.
Do you get married just to get the UK visa???? I'm sorry, it is my personal question, I don't know what the immigration could ask you.
But don't worry, you'll get you visa.
