Possible scenario?
Question: is it possible to forecfully acquire that land for the nation where the immigrants came from, by use of government authority and commercial power? (in other words, take that land)
Answer:
nuke em
I would say anything in human affairs is possible. But it is unlikely. Re-culturalization would be the net result, hostile takeover not reasonable to expect, but not impossible.
No, not in a democratic nation. But they can pass local laws that benefit the new population.
However, if they were many enough they could affect the national legislation and maybe vote to become a part of another country. This would be very unlikely.
It is possible down the road. Especially if the land once belonged to them. I don't support this, of course, but I do see where they are coming from...
Any attempt to do what you suggest would be met with such force by that country's military that it would be squashed almost before it began. Also what do you think that the other LEGAL citizens would be doing ? They would be fighting this from within the area you talk of.( now my own scenario) I don't know any parts of say the US that are 75% illegal aliens/legal except some nasty little border town of no significance. If indeed say the illegal aliens/legals from Mexico (via the Aztlan myth) did try to take over the southwest,it would spell disaster for them in so many ways you wouldn't be able to count them. This will NEVER happen, the military and the other legal well armed citizens of the southwest would never lay down in defeat. It doesn't matter if theses people were legal in the sense of the law or not.Treason is what I see for legal immigrants that attempt this act of war.
They could try but it would fail miserably and at a great cost to the illegals/legals attempting this crime against this nation.
Are they LEGAL immigrants? If so, they should be loyal to the country they immigrated into. So they would not allow another country, even if it was their former home, to 'acquire' that land for that country. Then what would have been the reason for those immigrants to immigate to begin with, except to assist their former homeland in acquiring land? If that other country 'acquired' it, then those people would be back at square one: Still a citizen of their former homeland (a desert wasteland, squalid living conditions, lead by selfish greedy discompassionate blood suckers) What would be the point? No, they would never be allowed to 'acquire' that land. The country that holds it now would fight to defend it. The 'immigrants' squatting on it would have to be legal immigrants filing for citizenship or they would be deported. The Government of their former homeland wouldn't have any 'authority' over that land if it belonged to another country, they couldn't 'take it'. That would be the beginning of a war.
I beleive it is. I don't know how easy it would be to accomplish....but that doesn't make the intent null and void. That's called destroying the nation from the inside out. Winning the war without ever firing a bullet.
There's way too much talk of "taking over"...way too much gleeful pride when they make the "whites" the minority in cities. Too much "brown pride" at the success of running people out of their towns. etc. What they need now is their citizenship and a few years for the kiddies to reach voting age.....They basicly have over-run the area they claim is "theirs".....they have also gotten a strong foothold in major cities in the states with the most electoral votes. Just something to keep an eye on. They haven't had to fight for rights like women and blacks have. They have equal representation in many high end positions...so nothing has been "denied" them as a people. Except amnesty and taking over the language of the country. Just about everyone in power is looking out only for them, at the expense of others. There are a few who are looking out for all citizens.....but the mexicans (with the take-over agenda) don't like them either. Just watch how it unfolds.......check deeply to their affiliation with LaRaza. It has a stronger grip than many realize. Paid for mind you....with your tax dollars.
Well, when the south tried to succeed (even though that had been the deal they had joined under) there was a war and they/we lost. So I'd say, no.
