Is there a future for the remaining white/Europeans in South Africa ?
Is it a meaningful life hiding behind electric boundaries?
What quality of life is there really in S.A. when as a paler skinned person you are really more of a target for serious and at times brutal crime, paying taxes but receiving little in return , post-school education too expensive for most, university qualifications downgraded in some fields and recognised less overseas, little or no money invested into infra-structure (roads, water, electricity, sewer) or consideration for future expansion.
If these people want to leave and can prove descent to European countries should these countries be sympathetic to their situation?
My heart aches for the country of my birth and my fellow South Africans, but is there a future?

A future like Zimbabwe maybe.
I'm a South African and recently moved over to Japan. There is a future in South Africa for everyone if we stop complaining. You see the ruling party ANC couldn't walk the talk. They promised people jobs, housing and everyhting. How many have jobs? We are to blame cause no one was introduced to understand the lies from politicians. By keeping quiet we are not solving the problem.

There is actually more opportunities for those capable of investing money than anywhere else in the world! Younger people might find it a little difficult if they are looking for jobs and if they are not well qualified. Previously it was easy for an unqualified white South African to become a Manager but now it is not.
Well, that is the situation with black people living in countries among white people too. Every heart aches for when some one is prevented from his/her humanitarian rights. But this is the world, and it is full of grudge, revenge and hatred. Our forefathers struggled allot for a mutual peace and commitment, and they failed, while the population wasn’t as high as it today. I don’t think today, in this selfish era of us, we can make anything better. But yah, at least if we cannot respect other races and ethnicities, I think, at least we should respect our owns. The white people must accept their people and the black ones their own. So at least they can live in peace among themselves.
You might as well say the Nazi party should have had a future in post WWII Germany. I have no pity for colonial racist regimes nor there offspring. If these people had not been attracted to a segregated lifestyle based on white supremacy and exploitation they never would have moved to S. Africa. Speaking of Nazi's, I seem to recall many of them trying to get into S. Africa because of the sympathy the S. African government had for them and there beliefs. Plus there was no extradition. I would be ashamed if I was from S. Africa. Any violence whites are subjected to now in S. Africais is simply delayed justice. I mean, can you imagine a holocaust survivor having to live around there former tormentors and not feel compelled towards violence?
