In more ways than not, immigration adds to this nation's already strained economy. When illegal aliens come here and demand medical treatment while millions of Americans can't get any, the answer becomes a little more clear especially when you consider that it is American taxpayers who are footing the bill. Alot of idiots who salivate at the mouth for illegal aliens Constitutional rights (they have none- they are NOT American Citizens) try to use the weak argument that America is a "melting pot". At one time this was true, but the fact is that the melting pot has melted; it has boiled over. There is no more "melting pot" and there is no more room in it for any reason.

That depends if you are talking about illegal immigrants or immigrants who have become citizens. You have to be specific. Illegals only contribute to cheap labor for rich companies. LEGAL immigrants actually contribute quite a lot...my guy being a citizen from Vietnam. He went to university, got a degree, has now a high paying job, pays his taxes, adopts, learned our language very well, and loves this country...oh, and is a Democrat :-). A lot of immigrants do that. Illegals drain the system.
Legal immigration bring in new people with new ideas & hope of working hard to better America & themself. Illegal immigration just drains the welfare system. They dont contribute any thing to america. Befor the pro illegal have a fit , The so called jobs that only illegals will do will still get done by legals. It may cost a little more but the jobs will get done.
well most inmigrants take the shitty jobs that may lower class americans are not willing to tackle.....working in agriculture fields, fast food joints, custodial, babysitting and house clean up.......the list goes on and on.
