Why did immigrants come to canda during the 1950's?

People came to canada because they were having harsh conditions in europe. In Canada they found that the Indigenious people were easy to bully and grab their land, so all the bullies from europe piled on and just went on looyting and plundering.
Some of them heard of the huge tracts of land that was there for cultivation so they came. BAsically they were all poor farmers and peasants in search of work and a better life.
Americans probably came to Canada to get away from the Korean War.
