It talks about the employment verification system under the Immigration Reform Act.
And aside from the fact that they say there is no appeal if DHS makes a mistake, isnt employment verification as simple as submitting an additional piece of paper to the gov't?
Just like submitting your W-4 or any other employment papers?
Is the ACLU exagerating the burden this will place on American workers?

There are numerous ways (Already) in place to check someones immigration status and eligibility to work.
It's doesn't matter how you dress it up, Amnesty is amnesty! Look up the definition of the word!
It rewards the criminal and punishes the guy that's trying to do the right (Legal) thing.
System is messed up. Everybody is over-senstive and over-defensive!
All the idiots in Senate and House of Representatives keep trying on different solutions and keep guessing at cure. Why can't they write down all the immigration problems numerically, ask everyone to comment on it and take votes -real voting-not the ones which are made up by Gallup or CNN and shown partial results.
I-9 is so simple and easy to use. Why can't we just stick to it. And really screw ACLU. Sometimes I think they just make a big deal for everything.
