Are you american? Should you be?
Answer:
I was born here therefore I am a citizen of the USA.
a traitor...pretty freekin simple to me...i dont know why some people cant understand this concept...especially when we see these people running down the very country that gives them the liberty to speak against it...go to their own homeland and try it..99% of the time they get shot and buried with no fanfare...
American. If you are born here you are one of us.
If you've pledged your allegiance to America, then yes you are American. If you haven't, you really should reconsider your life.
i think that makes you where your roots are from. for example:
my parents are from ethiopia but i was born here;
i consider myself ethiopian though because I am not accepted as an american because i dont look american and ethiopian genes are in m blood.
what are you really getting at, we as white American just want to live our lives,,,just like the illegals,, so if you want to start your racist latino crap,,,go troll somewhere else, America is just a name, The land is only land, your heart I cannot change if it it corrupted,, if you have a racist comment to make ,,look into yourself becuase you are the problem
i guess that would make u (watever)-american.
A monkey called bush
....American, since most of the current population is from overseas/ across the border and not Native American....if you want to get technical about it only pure Native Americans are actually American..since they were here first.
well, CHEA! of course u should be. white people's deep deep deep roots are european. black peoples deep deep roots are nigerian and south african. so, if u were born in america, want 2 be american, u r a citizen, well then, what's stopping u??? no one can make u not american. well, yea they can, but thats a completely different subject. lol. :)))
part american part of your roots.
A duel-citizen, someone with 2 countries (as in the 2 parents in question were born in different countries) I am an American-I was a duel citizen for 23 years, then I petitioned to become an American. I think I should be, I've learned American history better than some Americans do. I realize the value of being in this country and the responsibility that country demands of you.
If your roots are from another country (for instance China), then you are Chinese-American. Everyone becomes an American when they come to this country to live and build a life. That's why the United States is called the great melting pot.
Any white or black people in this nation came from other places. Everyone's roots are in other continents, but we are born here, so we are called Americans.
if my parents was not legal citizens and i was born here, i would not consider my self american. but, my parents and their parents was born here. my ancestors have been here since the mayflower. so i am a native american because i was born here. and my family comes a long way being here.
I was born here, and my ancestors came here LEGALLY!
you are American. you may be a Catholic American, or a Jewish American, or a....................., but you're still a American.
by the way, there is no such thing like a African-American. you're African or American.
yes I'm American and yes i should be here. yeah my roots maybe some where else. did i have a choice that i was born here, did my parents, did there parents and so forth. I don't think so! what it makes me is a American. but to get it really straight- German, Irish, Scottish, Swedish American!
my parents were born in Greece. I was born in the USA.
I consider myself an American first, then a Greek.
Basically, if the USA and Greece were to go to war (for some reason, lol) I'd fight for Uncle Sam
I am American and that is what i call my Brown skin Afro self.
American
Being a citizen of the US and being an American are not the same thing.
One has the guts to protect his country and the lives and liberty of US citizens.
The other has the right to complain about it and be a Democrat.
well i think i should not be an american.. just because i was born in america, i should be american ? my own opinion ill follow my roots because they were in my blood. my parents for example live in their country all their life, they took vacation in america and there i was born, now instantly im entitled to be american. no i dont want it...
