Would you like to hear 5 myths about illegal immigrants?

Yahoo deleted this so I am reposting it.
1) No human being is illegal. Well, a human being is not illegal, but breaking a law is illegal. So if an illegal immigrant comes to the US illegally, he is considered illegal. 2) The economy would collapse if the illegals were deported. Hmmm, seems we got along just fine in the 1920's, 1930's, 1940's, before there were 20 million plus illegals here. 3) They do jobs Americans won't do. Trust me, the jobs would get done with or without them. The employers may have to pay the workers a bit more, that's all. 4) They just come here for a better life. Well, that's true in many cases, but many come here to commit crimes. And even if they do come here for a better life, they are bankrupting our services and programs that are meant for real citizens. 5) This country is made of immigrants. Yes, legal ones. We have immigration quotas that are SUPPOSED to be respected. The experts have set the quotas based on how many immigrants the country can handle.

Answer:
I agree with you on all points. I don't have any respect for people who do things the wrong way and are out to take over our nation. These people should be deported ASAP. I believe that our separate states will do the job that our federal government seems incapable of or unwilling to do.
well, said. now let's build that wall.
How dare you post something that resembles being rational. It is politically incorrect to tell the truth. I'm going to report your question.
Right on now if only the Democraps and the Repukes in congress would listen to the vast majority of Americans demanding a end to illegal immigration.

Only Ron Paul has promised to end illegal immigration this presidential election.
2. Hmmm...Look at the immigration levels prior to 1918 wherein policy passed to actually require documentation. Any history of immigration will show mountains of parallels between then and now. Without them you probably would 't be here. The quotas haven't really changed since 1918 either.
You really do make good points. Americans must insist on deportation and ignore all the lies of not being able to deport. If they could not get jobs and employers and politician were held accountable, the problem would take care of itself.
if they delete this again then re-post it and ask a question at the end. YA is weird. they let people say and do what ever they want but put a well put string of thoughts ...or facts in your case and they go ape sh!t.
and oh yeah ...well put
and these illegals may come here for a better life but in doing so they are worsening ours.

now for that wall ... i have been in construction a long time and i hereby volunteer my services and expertise in getting that damn wall up.
good question. now call the surveyors about that fence. and my good man you might want to consider if you want lawbreakers living next to you. illegal is illegal whether you are here illegally or whether you have just made the drug deal of a lifetime. it is the same.
So, our forefathers applied for immigration to Native Americans? And they got their citizenship that way? I didn't know that.

That's weird. I always thought out germs wiped out most of Native Americans and we pushed them around with phony Indian treaties.

Do you know how we got Texas? Americans kept bringing slavery into Mexican territory when Mexican had abolished slavery ahead of the old US. Mexican authorities and American slave owners had fight. We stole the land from evil Mexicans who once guaranteed freedom to slaves in the US. First person to be injured at battle of Alamos was African American whose citizenship request was denied just after the battle.

But that is all in the past. I don't care about those.

I'm not too sure about them bankrupting our services. We probably lose out more with unpaid taxes by millionaires and billionaires who hide their wealth. And unnecessarily expenses in bureaucracy.etc. Why aren't we complaining about those? And big oils skipping out on loyalties, gov fees? Are we so afraid to confront big guys so we pick on poor people picking apples? Heck, if couple of billionaires actually pay what they owe to our gov they could probably cover what we miss out from million illegals.

If farmers and business came to rely on low paid migrant workers it's not easy to find new sources of labor. Just ask Washington state apple growers who had trouble already just from scared migrant workers. No one can estimate for sure of impact. If it will be positive or negative. But imagine your business's labor disappearing all the sudden. That will cause you little headache.
to mochrie who said quotas have never changed...

the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 abolished the previous system of caps on immigration per nation of origin.

previous to that for several years there were about 176k immigrants...
The act allowed 290k immigrants but it only capped it per hemisphere. other provisions from this Act led to 'chain immigration' where one would sponsor another.

The major supporter of this bill was. you guessed it .. Ted Kennedy.

here is a quote of quite some irony by Teddy during a debate over the act...
"...our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually. Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will not be upset."

Since the Act and subsequent ones its been much more difficult for eastern european immigrants to immigrate. They almost cant.
The education and skill level of immigrants has dropped significantly since then also.
Yes legal immigrants ... but remenber that 20, 30 or 40 years ago immigration laws were totally different !!

Why people immigrate illegally ?? well let me just tell you this, with all the food the US waste monthly its enough to feed all the hungry people in the continent of Africa.

You dont want illegal immigration ?? then go to the root of the problem, help poor countries to educate their population and attack corruption regardless of who did it !! why you should do it ?? and not themselves ? well if you dont do that in a long term its going to affect your country.

Its normal for every human to pursue happyness ! if in one place they cant do it they gon go somewhere else until they find it. Its normal, its survival instinct !
What the hell man? That is retarded. I'm glad yahoo deleted that post because that is some 00 bullshit.
You are right.
Hairy cookie. Mexico passed laws that outlawed slavery. They never enforced them, atleast not in California. That was part of the reason They lost California. THe Indians that were enslaved rebelled and destroyed a large part of Mexico's ability to hold California. They then helped America take control of California, in hopes of entering a freer society.

You should add 6) America's Southwest does not belong to Mexico.
Again , you are so very right
Well stated.

The censors were definitely active over the weekend......slashing and burning questions and accounts without really reading them.
That will be the day,
Number 3 is a little offbase and number 5 is completely wrong.

Employers, especially in the Agricultural sector, are now doing anything they can to replace people with machines. When that happens you don't need anyone to pick strawberries - legal or illegal.

We are not nor have we ever been a nation of immigrants. We are a nation of citizens. Out of all the people whoever lived in the United States, only 14% of immigrant labor built this country compared to 84% citizen workers.

Keep digging the truth is out there.
