Illegal "alliens" pay taxes with a ITIN issued by the IRS in order to pay taxes. They don't get the full credit (money) as a legal resident or a citizen.
They pay sales tax. Sometimes their employers get fake socials and pay the taxes for them so they look legal. They are needed so that rich and lazy people do not have to pay a descent wage for things they don't want to do. Also if you live in a nice clean city, they are needed to turn it into a cesspool.

you need nothing to get a social security card, all you have to do is , go to the SS office and tell them you're here on vacation and you would like to open a bank account for visits down the road, bingo
they just do don't bother yourself , best of luck
I'm a tax preparer. illegals get their hands on a SSN that doesn't belong to them by buying it from the "black market," an employer makes one up, or they use the # of dead people. I've seen immigrants come into my workplace and hand me a card with a number on it, then hand me their W-2 with a different number on it. Then they get mad at ME because they're only getting an $88 refund. Sheesh ....
