If someone entered the US legally, and visa expires, be treated the same as someone who run across the border?
Answer:
They do have a better chance of becoming permanent residents if they marry a US citizen, or their child becomes a US citizen, or their parent becomes a US citizen. That's it. Otherwise, in deportation, they are treated the same as someone who entered the US illegally.
Reapply for a visa, remember that's how the Terrorist got in.
If my driver's license expires, can I just go ahead and keep driving without getting a new one? I had one before, so I was legal then.
You need to get a new Visa. I would need a new license and I was born here. The whole point is knowing where people are who might not have this country's best interests at heart.
the advantage is you will not have to go back to your country. if you try to become a permanent resident you can stay in the us until the paperwork gets done. otherwise you'll have to go back and who knows how long that will take.
the means do not justify the ends
That person needs ot be kicked out, because fist of all, they know when their visa is going to expire, and they choose to stay here and or not renew it,,,,,someone is always looking for an easy way,,,,,
Nope.
BOTH are here ILLEGALLY.
BOTH should be DEPORTED.
Well they should have taken steps to renew their visa shouldn't have they - if that were the case. Some use legal means for entry only to disappear when their visa is ready to or has expired.
