I work in the NHS. Have done for over 35 years. But the latest stroke that the management lot has come out with is rediculous. I would hope it is ilegal too. Employement wise that is. If you have to be off sick, due to lets say an operation. It is practice that you return to work on a Structured Return. Ok sensible. Now we learn about a new idea . For example you might return the first week for three days working say 4 hours per day. What they are going to do is take the hours worked 3 x 4 hours = 12 then take the remaining hours ( From a 37.5 hour week )off of any remaining annual leave. In other words we will loose 25.5 hours off our annual leave. To encourage the people that go off sick needlessly to stop. While I agree that it needs to be stopped. Is that a fair way to do it?? Is it a ilegal way to do it?? Once again not satisfied with us having to work under staffed for over three years. Treated like a load of lazy idiots. I`m a porter by the way.Now this s***t
